Thanks to smarmyeels
I now have the ten dollars needed to expand my cap gallery! YES! Thank you so much guys! This just goes to show that where there's a will, there's a way. I cant wait to get all those caps and icons up :D
I come here asking for donations for my nickelodeon-related website.
Hear me out before you all decide to groan about donation beggers!
So far, I have Screencaps
Doug episodes, one
Muppet Babies, seven
Rocko's Modern Life, and one
Inside-Out Boy short.
As far as Icons
, I have Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold, Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Weinerville, Rocko's Modern Life, Clarissa Explains it All, Alex Mack, Pete and Pete, and Doug. I have many other non- nick related icons, but the point of my asking for donations is to expand my screencap collection
I have many screencaps of other nickelodeon shows sitting in my Photobucket, but Freewebs, who hosts my site, only allows 50 pages for a free user. I have already used 33. To upgrade, I need ten dollars for a year of unlimited pages.
Please, if you have any interest whatsoever in ever using my icons or screencaps, donate even fifty cents so that I can expand the site. I am currently jobless and I can not afford to do it myself, or I would because I am so passionate about expanding the amount of old nickelodeon media available.
All it takes is ten dollars and I'm sure that with the amount of fans out there, this will be quick to raise.
If you donate five dollars, I will make a livejournal layout for you in thanks. The whole ten dollars and I will do anything you ask and I will sell my soul to you for the next year.

Bye Bye Beavers
I found out recently after researching online why the Angry Beavers got canceled. Had to do with Mitch Schaur(sp?) exposing nick for what they really are in an unaired episode which pissed them off. I have to say I KNEW the angry beavers was an abnorm cartoon...that proves it.....you got guts Mitch...I salute you... ((if you ask and I'm up to it I will find a link where you can hear a clip of the unaired episode))
Anyway I remember being so overly obsessed with them I actually went crazy cause of no cable for 2 years then jumped for joy when I heard Norberts voice in Sabrina's cat ((Nick Bakay))
Anybody who was obsessed or at least loved the angry beavers? I know there are lots of inside jokes and lots of episodes I missed cause it got dumb after the first two seasons but I think mitch took huge risks with some of his episodes and I salute him for that too. I remember my teenage perverted internet-less self making up a messed up version of "Bummer of Love" He he he. remember when Dag when "she dumped ya" I made him say "she ****ed ya" ....long story heh

The All That Special
I have mixed feelings about the special.
On the one hand it was a reunion of some of the original cast. This is probably the most "old school-ness" that Nick will do for a while. It was nice seeing Kenan, Kel, and the gang. Also, the Goodburger skit was VERY funny. Also the Coach Kreton skit was alright. Those skits actually felt like the old All Thats.
On the other hand, for the most part, I was very disappointed. After seeing the intro, they showed the whole original cast, and I made the assumption that all the people they showed in the intro would be there. Barring the Goodburger skit, the majority of the skits were pretty lame. The "fashion police" one was actually PAINFUL to watch. I had to change the channel. The new kids are just so... Horrible. Yuck. Also, "the funniest skit of all time" was lame. Gee... I wonder why that skit won? Probably because all the kids who watch the new All Thats weren't around to see the originals. There is no way that, that lame skit was the best skit ever. No WAY. x.x And then, the music guests... Uf. The female singer was dressed in these skin tight 2 inch long "shorts" shaking her "stuff" with several dancers... That's normal right? I don't think the little 8 year olds in the crowd should be seeing people so inappropriately dressed. Ugh. I didn't even sit through Little Bow Wow's (I think) song. I'm not one to judge how people express themselves, but I'm sure most people here wouldn't want their little daughters dressing like, the first female performer. Woops, getting a little sidetracked. :P
Sorry if I seem mad or rude. Also sorry if I offended anyone. I just need to vent a little bit. I'm just disappointed and am starting to realize that Nick will never be like it was, back in the day. ): I miss my childhood.

who remebers the good ole days....
when enter at home games existed? Remember the "tune into snick" game shows or even the ones BEFORE snick! Like the REAL slime time, during the summer you stayed at home waiting for a number to call so you can enter then when a winner is chosen they did a match game with a phone pad? Or what about staying at home to enter "nick or treat" where you had to answer your phone as "nick or treat" to win? Or who even remembers the magic of them coming up with special medolies of holiday episodes and I quote "you can sort out your goodies while waching rugrats and you can eat them while watching Doug" ((the halloween episodes)) that to this day is STILL my favorite rugrats episode when they thought they had to scream to get a reptar bar. I also remember slumber parties being 10 X better with snick.....and the OLD all that....with the whiney girl katrina NOT with Jamie Spears and all this other crap anybody else remember?

OMG I won't even read the posts here yet SO much old school nickelodeon was taken off.......I hate it. I remember when Nick Jr. had cool shows like "adventures of the little koala" I remember "salute your shorts" and "hey dude" and "Stick stickly" and when slime time was REAL not this slime time live shit. I wish digital cable would come up with a channel to dedicate to old school nickelodeon that and I wish Noggin brought back old sesame street episodes *Sniffle* I am so sad thinking about all my old shows that went bye bye.....oh BTW I'm 21 years old so yeah I remember the REAL nick jr. also fred penners place, eureka's castle, special delivery, pinwheel etc.
